A space-saving staircase for secondary outdoor access

UP EXT is the outdoor version of the compact UP staircase and forms a narrow straight flight along a wall or façade. Its slim galvanised structure makes it easy to reach a terrace, roof deck or balcony without cluttering the courtyard or garden, even in very confined spaces.

Designed for secondary access routes, technical roofs and small terraces, UP EXT is fully made to measure to match your floor height and the available width. Why choose the UP EXT staircase?

Straight, compact structure that saves space

UP EXT uses a single straight run that can be fixed directly against the building. This keeps the footprint small and leaves more room for circulation, storage or outdoor furniture. It is particularly suitable for:

  • narrow side passages along a house;

  • small inner courtyards;

  • access to a flat roof or balcony above a garage.

Durable materials and anti-slip steps

The main structure is made from hot-dip galvanised steel, providing long-lasting protection against rust, rain and frost. You can choose between two step options:

  • recycled PVC with anti-slip surface, comfortable and eco-conscious;

  • perforated galvanised steel, offering maximum grip and quick drainage.
    Both versions significantly reduce the risk of slipping, even in wet weather.

Easy installation along a wall or façade

Thanks to its straightforward steel structure, UP EXT can be fixed to an existing terrace slab, balcony or roof edge with suitable baseplates and top brackets. Installation is quick and requires only limited additional work, which is a real advantage for refurbishments or projects where access to the site is restricted.

Low maintenance and eco-responsible design

The galvanised steel frame and stainless steel handrail require very little maintenance; occasional cleaning is enough to keep the staircase looking good. Choosing steps in recycled PVC also reduces the environmental impact of the project.
